At Good Hope, we believe every child deserves the chance to succeed. In Tanzanian primary schools, however, many children are in classes with more than 60 students, making it easy to fall behind if they miss school due to illness or personal reasons.

That's why we're here to help children catch up on missed school content and provide the individual support they need. We are dedicated to seeing these bright minds succeed in life and reach their full potential! 🙌🏾

We are very proud of our young mothers for making beautiful bags in all shapes and sizes, dresses, school uniforms, and washable menstruation pads. 💪❤️

From free education for kindergarteners, to scholarships for primary and secondary school, vocational and university studies, we're dedicated to supporting students at every stage of their educational journey. We offer a range of sponsorship opportunities tailored to meet various educational needs and donor capacities. 2023! ANOTHER YEAR OF GROWTH AND GRATITUDE! 🥳

As the year comes to a close, we at Good Hope are filled with great pride and joy as we reflect on the great progress we've made. This year, not only did we grow in size and scope, but we also deepened our impact within the community, thanks to the tremendous support of our friends, sponsors, and donors, and the tireless efforts of our team.

Here are some of the milestones we achieved this year:

❤️ Constructed a robust wall around our 1000 sqm plot, significantly enhancing the safety and creating a more defined space for our students

💙 We relocated and renovated our playground, introducing soft sand and a charming two-seater swing

❤️ To accommodate our growing family, we constructed a spacious and airy new classroom for our teenagers

💙 Our Kindergarten expanded to 45 children, thanks to increased recognition by the local government

❤️ We had 12 teens joining our permanent classroom for our two-year Stepping Stone Program, and 30 students enrolling in our three-month secondary school preparation short course - all without any advertising!

💙 We provided 5 new school sponsorships for secondary school and vocational training. And we're particularly proud of three ongoing scholarship students who finished secondary school this year and advanced to university and vocational training

❤️ The Christmas celebration was exceptionally heartwarming this year, expanding beyond our students to include siblings and neighborhood children, totaling about 200 children. This event was not just a celebration but a chance for children to enjoy healthy food, engage in joyful activities, and feel the spirit of community during the holiday season. It was a beautiful reminder of the impact and reach of the Good Hope family.

As we bid farewell to 2023, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has been a part of this journey. Your support is crucial to our success. To all our friends and the Good Hope family, we send warmest thoughts and best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Here's to a 2024 filled with peace, love, and continued success in changing lives! 🥰

The earnings collected throughout the event will help fund our Mabinti project. At the moment we have two young single mothers who come daily to Good Hope to sew, creating products to sustain themselves and their families. Our goal is to expand this project and invite more young mothers, offering tailoring training and sponsoring their future career with an own sewing machine so that they can become independent business women.
