2023! ANOTHER YEAR OF GROWTH AND GRATITUDE! 🥳

As the year comes to a close, we at Good Hope are filled with great pride and joy as we reflect on the great progress we've made. This year, not only did we grow in size and scope, but we also deepened our impact within the community, thanks to the tremendous support of our friends, sponsors, and donors, and the tireless efforts of our team.

Here are some of the milestones we achieved this year:

❤️ Constructed a robust wall around our 1000 sqm plot, significantly enhancing the safety and creating a more defined space for our students

💙 We relocated and renovated our playground, introducing soft sand and a charming two-seater swing

❤️ To accommodate our growing family, we constructed a spacious and airy new classroom for our teenagers

💙 Our Kindergarten expanded to 45 children, thanks to increased recognition by the local government

❤️ We had 12 teens joining our permanent classroom for our two-year Stepping Stone Program, and 30 students enrolling in our three-month secondary school preparation short course - all without any advertising!

💙 We provided 5 new school sponsorships for secondary school and vocational training. And we're particularly proud of three ongoing scholarship students who finished secondary school this year and advanced to university and vocational training

❤️ The Christmas celebration was exceptionally heartwarming this year, expanding beyond our students to include siblings and neighborhood children, totaling about 200 children. This event was not just a celebration but a chance for children to enjoy healthy food, engage in joyful activities, and feel the spirit of community during the holiday season. It was a beautiful reminder of the impact and reach of the Good Hope family.

As we bid farewell to 2023, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has been a part of this journey. Your support is crucial to our success. To all our friends and the Good Hope family, we send warmest thoughts and best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Meet Olivari Massawe 🌺

We are delighted to introduce you to Teacher Olivari Massawe, who officially became a part of our Good Hope family in January 2023. With 25 years of experience nurturing kindergarteners, Olivari's expertise is invaluable.

Teacher Olivari's loving and patient nature shines brightly in the classroom. Even amidst the lively energy of kindergarteners, he remains a calm and nurturing presence, always ready to guide and support. Beyond the classroom, older students from our various programs are drawn to his afternoon classes, eager to soak in his wisdom.

Living in Njoro next to Good Hope with his wife and children, Olivari intimately understands the challenges the community faces. Almost all of our Kindergarten students come from Njoro, arguably Moshi's most disadvantaged neighborhood. Those children often face unjust prejudices. Meet our Team 👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏿👨🏾‍🤝‍👨🏽🧑🏿‍🤝‍🧑🏿 Meet Olivari Massawe 🌺 We are delighted to introduce you to Teacher Olivari Massawe, who officially became a part of our Good Hope family in January 2023. With 25 years of experience nurturing kindergarteners, Olivari's expertise is invaluable. Teacher Olivari's loving and patient nature shines brightly in the classroom. Even amidst the lively energy of kindergarteners, he remains a calm and nurturing presence, always ready to guide and support. Beyond the classroom, older students from our various programs are drawn to his afternoon classes, eager to soak in his wisdom. Living in Njoro next to Good Hope with his wife and children, Olivari intimately understands the challenges the community faces. Almost all of our Kindergarten students come from Njoro, arguably Moshi's most disadvantaged neighborhood. Those children often face unjust prejudices.
